Community Café Drop Ins
We opened our first Community Café in 2007 in Wilnecote and our drop in sessions have grown ever since. We now cover Wilnecote, Amington, Belgrave, Glascote and Stonydelph.in the Greater Tamworth Area, in addition to our Hub in the Tamworth Castle Grounds
Three of the objectives of Community Together CIC are:
- Befriend & Support the lonely
- Give dignified enablement to the disabled
- Encourage healthy living through diet & fitness activities
Community Café Drop In Sessions are held in safe, accessible buildings and you are always guaranteed a friendly inviting atmosphere. Attending a session you can expect to see on offer FREE activities including Crafts, Quizzes, Games, Exercise, Prepare and Cook activities plus much more. We also offer a range of low cost refreshments, tea, coffee, etc.
You can also get information on local services in the community and we often have other organisations pop in and run sessions or just chat with people at the café.
There is now a Community Cafe session held every weekday to choose from. Our sessions are held during Term-Times at:
Monday’s 9am to 11am – Sacred Heart House, Silverlink Road, Tamworth, B77 2EA.
Monday’s 3pm to 5pm – Heathfields Infants Sure Start Centre, Off Saxon Close, Wilnecote, B77 5LU.
Tuesday’s 3pm to 5pm at Tamworth’s Community Fire Station, Off Marlborough Way, Belgrave, Tamworth B77 2NW.
Thursday’s 2:30pm to 5pm at Tamworth Community Fire Station, Off Marlborough Way, Belgrave, B77 2NW.
Friday’s 11am to 12.30pm, The Old Liberal House, 5-9 Woodhouse Lane, Tamworth, B77 3AE
Friday’s 3.30pm to 5.30pm St Martins Church, Ellerbeck, Stonydelph B77 4JA.
