Community Together CIC had a nice surprise when Tamworth Heat Treatment Firm based on Amington Industrial Estate contacted them to see how they could support the range of community services for all ages that take place weekly in the Tamworth community.

Matthew Whitehouse, Commercial Manager and Katie Crisp, Customer Relations Manager of Tamworth Heat Treatment (THT) have been in contact with Community Together CIC and visited their new hub in Tamworth Castle Grounds to find out more about the work they do in the community.
Following the visits, Community Together CIC were overwhelmed with the generosity given by Tamworth Heat Treatment after receiving notification that they would be awarded £2,000 but the generosity didn’t stop there as they also received 50 reams of Paper and stationery to support their Job Club support, Hi-Viz Jackets to support walking and cycling groups, and a white board to support adult learning and training.

“We really wanted to do something for the community so when we were looking for community projects to support and we came across Community Together CIC it was obvious that the services they provide to the community are fantastic, such a wide variety of projects in support of so many people. Lee and his team and all the people we’ve met at CT CIC are fantastic and we wish them all the best in their efforts.” We are proud to support such a worthy cause!
Steve Hodgetts Director of Operations at Community Together CIC said “As an organisation seeking corporate sponsorship is something we don’t have time to do as we are concentrating on supporting 149 hours of services each week in the Tamworth Community. We were delighted when THT contacted us having seen the benefit what we provide locally and then to have this supported with such a generous donation we cannot thank THT enough for their support and their donations will go a long way.”
