Torc Community Café

Torc Community Café is located in the Mall area of Torc Vocational Centre and Two Rivers High School in Glascote and has been operating since 25th April 2012.

Torc Community Café is open to the public Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm during School Term Times and offers a full menu including sandwiches, jacket potatoes as well as snacks and full range of coffees from Lattes to Mochas.

A warm welcome always awaits you at Torc Community Café which is run by Steve Hodgetts along with a team of volunteers and young people on work experience.

Work Experience Programme 16-24 year olds.

Torc Community Café offers 16-24 year olds an 8 week work experience programme where they learn everything about working in a café, often with no work experience what so ever the young people find it difficult to find their first job.  The work experience programme at Torc Community Café has a 62% success rate in young people finding employment directly after finishing their work experience or during their work experience.
